The Museum of the Grigne in Esino Lario preserves archaeological finds , a collection of paleontological fossils of Esino limestone, minerals , natural settings showing the climatic areas from the lake to the Grigna. It also has a collection of Italian butterflies , memories and documents reporting history and folklore , ethnographic objects and the reconstruction of a ” Casel “, the typical hut of the fallow lands located around the village.
It was recently be inaugurated the new venue of the museum that now is located in via Montefiori 19 within the garden of Villa Clotilde.
The museum is open during summer and winter holidays and by appointment for groups and schools.
