The “Tra Lago e Monti” Music Festival has become a consolidated tradition that animates the region of Lecco with an absolute level of music concerts, and has now reached its 30th edition.
Nowadays, seventeen concerts take place in some of the most valuable art places of the area, characterized by suggestive atmospheres, and providing the opportunity to rediscover also the art treasures of some of the most beautiful churches in this part of Lombardy.
The program privileges rare listening and executions that characterize the particular approach of the instruments.
The municipalities part of the initiative are Lecco, Cremeno, Cassina, Introbio, Barzio, Pasturo, Primaluna, Bellano, Dorio with their parishes and that of Moggio, Maggio. The Festival will be from 21 July to 9 September.
All concerts will be free and they will begin at 8.30 pm (unless otherwise indicated); the program:
- Friday, Juli 21: Concert in Varenna at Prato Square;
- Wednesday, July 26: concert in Lecco at Palazzo Belgioioso;
- Monday, August 7: concert in Introbio at S. Michele Church;
- Tuesday, August 8: concert in Cremeno at S. Giorgio Church;
- Wednesday, August 9: concert in Cassina at S. Giovanni Evangelista Church;
- Thursday, August 10: concert in Concenedo at Carmelo’s Monastery;
- Friday, August 11: concert in Pasturo at Madonna della Cintura Sanctuary;
- Sunday, August 13: concert in Maggio at Villa Carnevali;
- Monday, August 14: concert in Primaluna at SS. Pietro and Paolo Church;
- Thursday, August 17: concert in Barzio at Sports Hall;
- Friday, August 18: concert at Piani di Bobbio at Rifugio Ratti;
- Saturday, August 19: concert in Maggio at S. Maria Nascente Church;
- Monday, August 21: concert in Moggio at S. Francesco Church;
- Tuesday, August 22: concert in Dorio at S. Giorgio Church;
- Wednesday, August 23: concert in Bellano at Casa del Popolo;
- Friday, August 25: concert in Varenna at Villa Monastero;
- Saturday, September 9: concert in Varenna at Villa Monastero.
