On Friday, March the 25th the Pro Loco of Dervio, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Lario Orientale, organize the Sacred and Cultural representation of the Passion of Christ, in the suggestive frame of the characteristic environments of Dervio with the participation of over 50 costumed extras .
The meeting is scheduled for 20:30 in the square of the Parish Church with Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem and the beginning of the procession that involves the following steps:
- Washing of the feet to Parco Boldona
- Kiss of Judas among the olive trees of the Lake Promenade
- Betrayal of Peter and crowing of the cock in the Centre La Sosta
- Temple and the Sanhedrin trial in Pontius Pilate’s palace in Piazza del Municipio
- Flagellation and laying of the crown of thorns in the Palazzo De Magni
- Encounter with the Veronica in Valvarrone square
- Road to Calvary with three falls on the trail to the Castle
- Crucifixion, death and resurrection of Christ in the picturesque scene of Borgo di Castello.
