Moto Guzzi Museum in Mandello del Lario is arranged within the historical motorcycle factory.
The exibition of the museum traces the history of the production of motorcycles, from prototypes to early production models.
Among the over 150 items displayed, some unique models stand out, such as the first motorcycle built in 1919, standing next to very renown models.
In the aera devoted to mass production bikes the exhibition is a true insight into the social and economic development of Italy: from the first motorbikes by Moto Guzzi, such as GT “Norge” in 1928, to Guzzi Sport line, GT, Airone and Falcone.
The exhibition also displays mass productions motorcycles which used to be well widespread during the post-war era, such as Guzzino and Galletto.
Another area is dedicated to racing vehicles that, with their accomplishments, gave celebrity to the brand from Mandello del Lario. These models include the Guzzi 4V 350 winner of the World Championship in 1950.
In the final area of the exhibition some footage are shown to explain the most significant moments in the history of Guzzi’s factory production.
