The Museum of Contemporary Art in Morterone was created in the 80s during the last century from the will of the cultural association Amici di Morterone.
The intention was that to place in the territory of the smallest town in Italy and the center of reflections of the poet Carlo Invernizzi located at the bottom of Mount Resegone, a series of sculptures and paintings of Italian and European artists, creating an outdoor museum to be discovered.
The creative works have been manufactured by various artists with the aim to embellish the country while respecting its unspoiled landscape and making its community live again, starting from its roots.
The museum is an excellent opportunity to discover the area and this small town on the slopes of Mount Resegone.
