Lake Como is not only famous for its breathtaking beauty but also for the variety of fish it hosts. Among the most sought-after predators are Zander (also known as Luciperca), Pike, and Perch. Occasionally, you might also encounter Catfish. The flesh of both Zander and Pike is highly prized and often appears on the menus of gourmet restaurants in the area. The Perch, served with rice, butter, and sage, is one of the traditional dishes of Lake Como, perfect for savoring the local culinary heritage.
Imagine casting your line into the clear water, surrounded only by the silence broken by the songs of birds and the gentle rustling of the water. The patience of the fisherman is rewarded by the thrill of a slight vibration on the line, followed by the excitement of a catch. In that moment, the adrenaline is high, but the beauty of the landscape will make you feel perfectly in harmony with nature.
The fishing tour lasts about 4 hours and can be booked between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, depending on the season. To fish from the boat, a license is required, which Franco can issue as he is authorized by the APS Provincial Amateur Fishermen and Scuba Divers Association.
Boarding takes place directly at small boat docks or, if you prefer, at the hotel where you’re staying, for a more personalized and convenient experience.

La Casa del Sarto – Rooms and Apartments is an accommodation facility located in the village of Chiuso, a few steps from the city center of Lecco, close to Lake Como and Adda river. The hotel is the scene of some key events in the famous novel “I Promessi Sposi” by Alessandro Manzoni.
The hotel is composed by three floors, with a delightful courtyard; it offers six rooms, for those guests who want to enjoy homemade breakfast, and five furnished apartments, for those who prefer indipendence, along with comfort and services offered.
Among the services provided, there is the possibility of e-bikes rental; this is a perfect way to enjoy the Lake in a slowly and satisfying manner.
All rooms and apartments are equipped with free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, TV, private bathrooms with shower, hairdryer and courtesy set (shower gel and shampoo). Two rooms only share the bathroom. Bedlinen and towels are provided by the hotel.
La Casa del Sarto is open all year round, with 37 total bed places.
The hotel position is ideal for discovering the city of Lecco and the most significant places of Alessandro Manzoni; for sport lovers, la Casa del Sarto is perfect as starting point for a bike tour along Ciclovia dell’Adda or for a trekking along the Sentiero del Viandante, on the Lake Como east shore. For discovering lake beauties, Bellagio, Varenna and Bellano are easily reachable.

Siamo ormai alle porte di un nuovo anno! Le feste continuano e, anche se vige il detto ‘Epifania, tutte le feste porta via’, gennaio può riservarci tante idee e novità sul nostro lago e sulle nostre montagne.
Anzitutto, non dimentichiamoci dei tanti eventi che saranno presenti sul nostro territorio.
La Parrocchia S. Pietro Martire di Onno ci invita il 6 gennaio 2025 alla VII edizione del Presepe Vivente, per continuare a scoprire la magia del Natale.
Quale miglior occasione, poi, se non quella di una bella ciaspolata per i nostri monti? Ciaspolando sui Monti del Lago di Como apre il calendario 2025 delle escursioni con le nostre guide alpine e accompagnatori. Avremo la possibilità di fermarci per il pranzo nei Rifugi e lasciarci avvolgere dai paesaggi innevati.
Oppure, possiamo organizzare una tranquilla gita domenicale fuori porta, sulle tracce di Alessandro Volta, accompagnati da una guida ambientale.
Stare all’aria aperta caratterizza il nostro territorio. Ci sono tante nuove esperienze come pescare sul Lago di Como o muovere i primi passi ‘in verticale’ sulle pareti rocciose del lago.
Con queste proposte, confidiamo in un sereno ed entusiasmante inizio anno sulle Montagne del Lago di Como.

The “Lecco Città dei Promessi Sposi” exhibition represents a cultural event dedicated to the Manzonian heritage with the aim of spreading the cultural value, the relevance of Manzoni’s literary thought and production, promoting the places immortalized in “I Promessi Sposi” from the point of historical, artistic and landscape view.
There are dozens of events scheduled during the festival and intended for all types of audiences, each person can find an event that involves them.
The exhibition is organized by the Municipality of Lecco and the Lecco Urban Museum System (Si.M.U.L.).

Relive the atmosphere of the past, for this village means to know himself, findind a part of his history:
The main village move in a wonderful projec, an event able to motivate young and enhancing the elderly, a unique opportunity to know and appreciate the singular character, and discover his charm.
What make exceptional this recostruction is the possibility to relive the past in an environment that it still retains many traces, and the old crafts presented to visitors are not the result of a philological research , but emerge from living memory of people who have lived in these trades , the natural wisdom of their gestures , by the skill inherited from fathers.
The itinerary interest not only the historical center and his streets, his places, his houses, but also the rural nucleus perfectly preserved. The path becomes a real journey back in time : meet farmers in the occupied country , and work in the care of the cattle ; are observed characters devoted to crafts disappeared (Trimmers , tinkers , miners ) and other activities that we thought forgotten ; women find themselves – so adept at spinning , weaving , sewing – with their traditional dresses, evening the families gathered in the stables , the ancient pastimes …

Also this year the Municipality of Moggio organize the “Moggio Scents and Flavours of Autumn”.
The event will start on Saturday 12 October the 12th at 12.30 with the Solidarity Pasta, a solidarity lunch whose proceeds will go to the friends of Premana affected by the floods. To follow for children (and not only) the “Moggio Profumi & Sapori d’Autunno Kids” with games, chestnuts and snacks for everyone!
The event will continue Sunday, October the 13th starting at 10:00 am with the distribution of a tasting kit: the traditional food and wine festival leads to the discovery of Valsassino cuisine to which the best wines from Italian wineries will be paired.

Borsa Locale del Turismo Lariano 2024
Il 29 novembre 2024 si terrà a Lecco la quinta edizione della Borsa Locale del Turismo Lariano (BLTL): il modo più semplice ed economico per partecipare alle maggiori fiere internazionali per le imprese locali, dagli hotel agli operatori di servizi turistici.
La BLTL è, infatti, l’occasione per gli operatori del lago e della montagna di far parte per un intero anno dell’esclusivo “Catalogo Confidenziale dell’Offerta“, che raccoglie le migliori proposte degli operatori locali.
Ogni anno il catalogo viene presentato dal team della rete Montagne del Lago di Como ai Tour Operator nelle più importanti fiere internazionali del turismo. Il nutrito programma fieristico della rete prevede la partecipazione a ben 4 eventi nel 2025: BIT Milano, ITB Berlino, TTG Rimini e F.re.e di Monaco.
Stefano Gianola, Presidente della rete di imprese, spiega che: “L’evento è aperto a tutti gli operatori del settore turistico del Lago di Como e delle sue montagne. La BLTL 2024 rappresenta inoltre una preziosa occasione di incontro e collaborazione tra imprese impegnate nelle attività di incoming sul Lago di Como e nelle sue suggestive montagne”.
“Quest’anno” ricorda Carlo Montisci, Destination Manager della Rete, “La BLTL ha avuto un importante riconoscimento dal Ministero del Turismo che l’ha cofinanziata all’interno delle attività del Bando per la Montagna dedicato a incrementare il turismo sulle montagne che circondano il Lago di Como”
Si tratta quindi di un evento di grande rilevanza per gli operatori del settore turistico del Lago di Como e delle sue montagne.
